Betting Predictions 11.01.2015 – Premier League, Serie A, Liga BBVA

Arsenal – Stoke City The first match between these two teams this season was won by Stoke after they were leading 3-0 at half time and Arsenal managed to get two goals back but nothing more. Now the Gunners will be looking for revenge but they need to look out for Stoke’s dangerous set pieces. Olivier Giroud will return for the hosts after serving a suspension and Mesut Özil and Aaron Ramsey are back in training but they may start from the bench. After Mame Biram Diouf departure to the AFCON, the Potters are hoping that Bojan will be fit to start in this game. Arsenal won their last seven games at home against their opponents and even though Stoke are a boogey teams for them, the Gunners don’t seem to have much problems playing them at the Emirates. Tip: 1 @ 1.44 Inter – Genoa Both teams have problems with conceding goals as Inter conceded in six of their last seven games and their opponents Genoa scored also in six of their last seven games playing away from home. Inter boss Roberto Mancini will have problems in defense because of the suspension of Andrea Ranocchia and Jesus. Mateo Kovacic is also suspended, which means that Lukas Podolski may make his debut as a starter for Nerazzurri. Both teams desperately need the three points and are going to give it all in this game, which means we may see some goals being scores. Tip: Both teams to score @ 1.90 Roma – Lazio Probably the most expected game this weekend is the Rome derby between Roma and Lazio. The atmosphere in these games is fantastic the motivation and pressure is incredibly high for both teams. Roma are only one point behind leaders Juventus and will be looking to overtake them, while Lazio sit behind them and would like to catch up with their rivals. The hosts would need to cope with the absences of SeidouKeita and Gervinho who are participating in the African Cup of Nations. It’s expected that Francesco Totti will start and a decision regarding Adam Ljajic will be made shortly before kickoff. Senad Lulic is the latest player to be added to Lazio’s injury list and he won’t be able to participate in this derby. The Eagle’s three out of the last four away games have finished in a draw at half time and looking at the importance in this game for both teams, they wouldn’t want to take too many risks in the first half. Tip: Draw at half time @ 2.20 Napoli – Juventus When these two teams met in the Supercup final Napoli won thanks to penalties. Juventus were favorites for that game and that loss certainly hurt them as they now won only once in their last six games. Roma are chasing them and are just one point behind Juve so they have a lot to worry about. Napoli manager Rafa Benitez will have Manolo Gabbiadini at his disposal but may not risk starting him from the beginning. Juventus are unlikely to change anything from the starting eleven they fielded against Inter. The visitors have conceded one or more goals in their last four games and seeing as Gonzalo Hugain started scoring again they may have problems. Both teams will try to play in a fast tempo and this game can be as exciting as the Supercup one, which means we’ll probably see many goals in it. Tip: Both teams to score @ 1.90 Barcelona – Atletico Madrid The morale in Barcelona currently is terrible and the club has many problems to deal with. There have been many speculations in the media about a scandal between Lionel Messi and Luis Enrique which can always bring negativity to any club. Enrique seems to be loosing the dressing room and if he doesn’t change something he may be sacked but some think it’s too late now. On the other side Atletico are extremely motivated, having beaten Real for the cup midweek. Diego Simeone will be looking to hurt Barcelona even more and catch up with leaders Real Madrid. Thomas Vermaelen is injured for the hosts and Xavi probably also won’t play. Atletico will be without Cani and Cristian Ansaldi for this game. The last three meeting between these two sides finished with less than 2.5 goals in them and seeing as Atleti have had under 2.5 goals in three of their last five away fixtures we may not see many goals here. Tip: Under 2.5 goals @ 1.90
