Chelsea – Manchester United
Both teams have something to play for. A win for United could mean an almost guaranteed place in the Champions League while Chelsea can maкe a huge step towards the title. The Blues are confident when playing at home and are undefeated at Stamford Bridge this season in the league. Both teams are in great form when it comes to results, but United are currently playing much better. Chelsea are missing their top striker Diego Costa and will hope to have his replacement Loic Remy back for this match. The visitors were struck with the injuries of Phil Jones, Michael Carrick, Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo. Johnny Evans is also unavailable due to suspension which means Paddy McNair will probably start at the heart of defense. Both teams will feel the pressure here, but Jose Mourinho knows how to win these types of matches.
Tip: 1 @ 2.0
Augsburg – VfB Stuttgart
Augsburg’s recent form has recently dropped and they haven’t won in their last four games. Even though, Stuttgart are fighting to stay up they possess the sixth best attack in the league. But the fact that they have the fourth worse defense in the Bundesliga doesn’t help their cause. Both teams were able to score in Stuttgart’s last three fixtures. The hosts need to start winning games if they want to remain in the top six and participate in Europe the next season. Both sides need goals and we may see a pretty open game here.
Tip: Both teams to score @ 1.7
Deportivo La Coruna – Atletico Madrid
Atletico come into this game after a tough game in the Champions League against Real Madrid but need to refocus to the league if they don’t want to fall behind other teams. There’s even a chance of them not qualifying for the Champions League, so a win here is a must for Diego Simeone’s men. Their captain Gabi is suspended while Mario Mandzukic picked up a knock and will probably be replaced by Fernando Torres. Atletico haven’t lost in their last eight league games, meanwhile Deportivo are on a completely different track, having failed to win their last nine fixtures. The visitors also haven’t lost in the last seven meeting against this opponent which makes them huge favorites for this one.
Tip: 2 @ 1.8
Guingamp – Evian Thonon Gaillard
We saw more than 2.5 goals in Evian’s last three away fixtures. They are very close to the relegation zone and need to win some points from this match. Guingamp’s form also hasn’t been impressive – they lost their last three home fixtures in the league. Their season seemed over after they were knocked out of the Europa League and that was evident from their performances. But they still need one win to guarantee their top flight status. They will want to make it up to their fans for the bad form and will probably play with less pressure than their opponents, so many goals are expected.
Tip: Both teams to score @ 1.95
