Liverpool – Manchester United
This match has always had something special about it and this certainly will be the case on Sunday. Liverpool and Manchester United are in a fierce battle for the Champions League spot and neither team is going to give it up easily. The hosts are the team in the best form in the Premier League, having won their last five games, meanwhile their opponents haven’t been convincing when playing away from home. They will have Angel Di Maria back for this one, but Van Gaal is unlikely to make changes after the convincing win against Spurs. The question if Steven Gerrard should play or not is the biggest one that Brendon Rodgers has to answer. The team who wins here will have a huge advantage in the battle for a place in Europe and both sides will be up for it. The last time these two teams met United won with a convincing 3-0 and we saw more than 2.5 goals in the last three meetings between them. Liverpool have scored at least two goals in their last seven home games and it’s likely that they’ll find the net again, which means United also need to score if they want to come out with something out of this match.

Barcelona – Real Madrid
El Classico is here and both teams are ready to prove to the world why they deserve to win the league title. Real Madrid haven’t been convincing as of late and were almost knocked out of the Champions Leauge. Barcelona, meanwhile, dominated over Manchester City and deservedly will play in the 1/4 finals of the competition. The hosts are one point in front of their opponents in this match and a win here could extend their gap to four. Their recent form has been amazing and they won 17 out of their last 18 matches. In comparison, Real have just managed to win 11 and lost five of them. Sergio Busquets is still injured for Blaugrana which means that Mascherano will retain his place in central midfield. Jordi Alba and Daniel Alves are back after being suspended and will probably start on both flanks in defense. Real’s only missing player is the injured James Rodríguez. Confidence is high in Barcelona and to me they look like the clear favorites for this derby.

Parma – Torino
Parma officially declared bankruptcy and things look pretty bad for them, but this match will still be played. They will play without pressure and this could lead to complacency from Torino. The visitors gave it their all but couldn’t eliminate Zenit in the Europa League. Their players may still be tired from the match on Thursday. The future of Parma’s player is in doubt and they may lack the motivation to play in this game. Torino lost their last two games in the league which means they will want to get back on the winning road and what better opponents to do that than Parma.
Tip: 2 @ 1.85
Udinese – Fiorentina
Fiorentina destroyed Roma on Thursday and their confidence will be sky high. They are currently fifth with one point less than Napoli and equal points with Sampdoria, so a win here is a must. The question is if their squad can handle playing so often. Stefan Savic was the victim against Roma and will miss this game due to injury. His team have scored two or more goals in the last three meetings against Udinese. The hosts need to secure they stay in Serie A for the next season as soon as possible and their home form against Fiorentina has been impressive, so it’s likely that both teams will find the back of the net.
