Football Predictions 30.11 – Premier League, Liga BBVA, Serie A, Bundesliga

Southampton – Manchester City Southampton continued their undefeated streak but the performance against Villa wasn’t at the same level as before. Steven Davies was injured for that game but now he has a good chance of playing against City and giving his side the needed creativity they lacked the previous game. City made an impressive comeback against Bayern midweek and it definitely raised their overall morale. The Citizens drew the last time they played away at Southampton but now if they win this game they will overtake Soton in the league table. Southampton are clearly showing a dip in their performances recently and City seem to be finding their form again so I think this will be a narrow win for the away side. Tip: 2 @ 2.40 Tottenham – Everton Both teams played in the Europa League on Thursday and won their games but Tottenham had the advantage of playing at home and not travelling. Spurs’ form drastically improved and after the game against Newcastle they lost only once and won five in all competition.  Andrew Townsend, Emmanuel Adebayor,Danny Rose, Nacer Chadli and Etienne Capoue will be assessed before the match in order to find out if they could feature in the match but for now they’re in doubt. Everton have problems in the middle of the pitch as it’s looking unlikely that Gareth Barry or James McCarty will be fit enough to start but on the other hand Leighton Baines is likely to start. Tottenham haven’t lost in any of their last six home games against Everton but The Toffees are undefeated in their last five Premier League games. Games between these teams have always been very close so I predict a draw here. Tip: X @ 3.60 Valencia – Barcelona Valencia’s start of the season has been pretty impressive and even though they lost against Levante in the last round they currently sit fourth in the league. Unluckily for them Barcelona look back to their best as their strike force in Messi, Suarez and Neymar are looking unstoppable at the moment. The Catalunian side are undefeated in their last seven away games against this opponent but they lost the last time these sides met at Camp Nou. Barcelona will probably be without Andres Iniesta and Thomas Vermaelen but I still think they have enough quality especially in attack to beat Valencia. Tip: 2 @ 1.50 Roma – Inter Roma have a lot of missing players in different position, mainly in defense. The good news for the team is that Kevin Strootman is fit for the game. At least their players will be fresher, because they played 48 hours earlier than their opponents in the midweek Europe fixtures. They failed to beat CSKA Moscow and Inter won against Dnipro. But this will be a comepletely different game as both teams will try to give their best in order to win the three points. Inter usually start slow their games as opposed to Roma and I think if the hosts catch them off guard then they’ll have much problems. Tip: 1 @ 1.75 Wolfsburg – Borussia Monchengladbach Wolfsburg will be wondering how they lost against Everton when they dominated so much of the game. Gladbach and Villareal resulted in a very entertaining draw once again proved that Gladbach can score goals. But so do Wolfsburg and that makes me think that we’ll see many of them in this match. In addition there were more than 2.5 goals in the last three matches between these two teams with Wolfsburg winning two of them. Tip: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.62
