The co-commissioner of the Southern California Collegiate Volleyball League, Matt “Trinitiii” Nausha, will be the new esports director at Counter Logic Gaming.
Nausha has been working with the company for approximately two months. He has been working with the players, scouting for new games and talents, setting up systems for the esports department, and overseeing staff. This will be Trinitiii’s first time as a professional in esports; he has been, however, familiar with the scene for quite a lot of time.
He stated that he wants to use his passion as a competitive player in both traditional sports and gaming. He continued saying how happy he was when Trinitiii found the job offer for CLG, not only because they are Counter Logic Gaming, but also because he has been looking for such an offer for the past two years.
His personal experience in volleyball has helped him understand the players’ perspective. Since he signed on, his presence has been enormous in guiding the staff and players at CLG, which helped him achieve goals in the organisation as he has in the SCCVL, which managed to double in size since he got involved. He aims to do the same at Counter Logic Gaming.
Trinitiii said, “I am incredibly excited to be here at Counter Logic Gaming”. He continued explaining that in the past two months he has been working with the coaches, players and analysts. He also stated that they had observed a few areas that can, in fact, grow and finished saying that we should expect a completely new Counter Logic Gaming in the next year and especially in their LOL team.
