Premier League Predictions 03.12.2014

Arsenal – Southampton. Arsenal have managed to pick themselves up after the loss against Manchester United and won their next two matches against Dortmund in the Champions League and WBA in the Premier League. Unfortunately for them Kieran Gibs, Nacho Monreal and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlane picked up injuries in the last game. For the away side¬†Morgan Schneiderlin picked up an injury against Man City and according to Kouman Jack Cork will be available to replace him. Southampton have a tough¬†run and I think they’ll lose many points in those games. Arsenal are in good form and I predict them to do well against The Saints. Tip: 1 @ 1.80

Chelsea – Tottenham

Chelsea were stopped last time against Sunderland and need to step up their game if they want to win against Tottenham in this London derby. Spurs won their last game against Everton and now have three wins in their last three games. Diego Costa will be a big loss for the Blues and it’s left up to Drogba and Remy to prove their worth to the squad. The Blues are undefeated in their last 17 home games against Tottenham so their home record against their rivals looks good. There have been over 2.5 goals in Tottenham’s last six Premier League games and I think this one won’t be an exception. Tip: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.70

Everton – Hull

After a disappointing loss against Tottenham at White Hart Lane Everton boss Roberto Martinez will hope to have James McCarthy and Steven Naismith fit for the clash against Hull. The away side aren’t at their best at the moment and are just above the relegation zone. Hull lost four matches in a row and Steve Bruce will be looking to stop the losing streak against The Toffees. The hosts won the last three meeting when these two sides met and will be looking to achieve consistency by winning against Hull. Tip: 1 @ 1.53

Sunderland – Manchester City

Sunderland are City’s boogey team and The Citizens don’t usually play well against them. The Black Cats tripped Chelsea on their way to the title and now want to do the same against the current champions. City impressed against Southampton last week and will be looking to continue their winning streak but will be without the defender Elaquim Mangala who is suspended. Any of the last home games for Sunderland against City have ended in a 1-0 scoreline and seeing as the host had less than 2.5 goals in ther last three games I think this one won’t be much of a goal thriller either. Tip: Under 2.5 goals @ 2.00
