Aston Villa – West Bromwich Albion
. Aston Villa are in a crisis at the moment, having lost their last seven Premier League fixtures. They failed to score in eight of their last ten league games and are currently at the bottom of the table. Their opponents are looking stable under Tony Pullis, keeping a clean sheet in five out of their last seven games. The hosts will hope that one of Kieran Richardson or Aly Cissokho will be available for this derby because Matt Lowton had to play as left back in the last match. Three of WBA’s striker have knocks but will probably be fit for this game. Four out of the six last matches between these two sides have ended in a draw and WBA have drawn their last four visits in the league. The visitors have a solid defense under Pullis and Villa will have trouble finding the net in their current form.
Tip: Both teams to score – No @ 1.67
Hull – Sunderland
Both sides are in the relegation battle and a win here could be vital. The difference between them is only one point and they both lost their last Premier League games. Hull lost to Stoke on Saturday, having only one shot on target. Manager Steve Bruce will hope that Nikica Jelavic and Mohamed Diame are fit for the match. Sunderland lost against Manchester United but the good news for them is the fact, that Wes Brown’s red card will probably be overturned. The host won the last four times against Sunderland and given their home advantage, they should be able to snatch the victory here.
Tip: 1 @ 2.15
Queens Park Rangers – Arsenal
This London derby has always been a tight affair and it won’t be a different case this time. Arsenal won four of the last five clashes but all of the wins were by one goal margins. QPR’s players will be more fresh since they haven’t played at the weekend. Their recent form hasn’t been good and they’re right back in the relegation battle. QPR’s home record has suffered and they need to get back on the winning track. Joey Barton is suspended for the hosts, meanwhile Niko Kranjcar and Sandro have slight knocks and are doubts for the game. Francis Coquelin broke his nose in the game against Everton but should be available for selection for Arsenal. We saw under 2.5 goals in QPR’s last four home fixtures and this has the potential to turn into a nervy affair between these two sides.
Tip: Under 2.5 goals@ 2.20
West Ham – Chelsea
We’ll see another London derby on Saturday, this time between West Ham and Chelsea. The Hammers couldn’t win nine ot their last time Premier League games and are currently on the ninth place. Chelsea won the Capital One Cup on Wednesday and now need to focus their attention to the domestic league, where they’re sitting at the top and have a five point advantage over Manchester City. We saw more than 2.5 goals scored in West Ham’s last three home games against this opponent and Chelsea’s last three away games in the league. The Blues will still be without Nemanja Matic and John Obi Mikel, which can potentially make their defense unstable.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.80
