Newcastle United – Tottenham
Since the sacking of Alan Pardew, Newcastle have been in terrible form. They lost their last five games and couldn’t find the net in five of their last seven league fixtures. Tottenham’s season seems to be over and, even though, they’re only seven points behind Manchester City, not many people expect them to finish in the top four. The hosts have seven injured players and also can’t use the suspended Moussa Sissoko and Papiss Cisse. The good news for them is the return of Coloccini in the heart of the defense. Jan Verthongen, Kyle Walker and Hugo Lloris are doubts for the visiting side. Both teams’ form isn’t something to brag about, but Tottenham seem a little bit better than their opponents and if they want to have any chance of achieving a place in Europe, a win here is a must.

Inter – AC Milan
The Derby della Madonnina is always an exciting event, even though the stake now is just city pride and maybe Pippo Inzaghi’s job. The Milan manager is feeling the pressure and a win here could do his team a world of good. His key striker Mattia Destro was injured in the last game but will probably start from the bench, which means Menez will probably play as a false nine. Roberto Mancini will have to cope with the absences of Fredy Guarin and Marcelo Brozovic who are suspended. Both teams are very unstable in defense and this has resulted in their current positions in the league. Inter haven’t lost in nine of their last ten meetings against this opponent at home and look like the slightly better team at the moment. If Icardi, Palacio and Shaqiri find their form, the visitors could have many problems defensively.

Wolfsburg – Schalke 04
Wolfsburg were destroyed against Napoli in the Europa League and their season seems over. They just need to guarantee the second place and this will bring an end to a very successful campaign. Schalke are ten points from the fourth place and qualification seems unlikely for Roberto Di Matteo’s team. They haven’t got a victory in their last four games and also in their last five away fixtures in the Bundesliga. Even though, the visitors won five out of the last six games against their opponents, Wolfsburg haven’t lost in 11 out of the last 12 home fixtures against Schalke. Both teams enjoy scoring goals and this can be seen from looking at the last seven meeting between these two sides where we saw more than 2.5 goals in each one of them. It is very likely that this one will also be filled with many goals.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.6
Lyon – Saint Etienne
Lyon lost the first derby with 3-0 and now will be looking for revenge against their rivals. They managed to find their form and collect two wins from their last two games which currently puts them at the top. Saint Etienne have been very solid and haven’t lost in their last seven league games. Their form away from home hasn’t been impressive though and they won only two games on the road. The last two games between these teams ended in wins for Saint Etienne but now Lyon will be extremely motivated to come out of this match with a win. The hosts will have to play without the injured Milan Bisevac and Yoann Gourcuff while the visiting side won’t be able to rely on Renaud Cohade, Florentin Pogba and Moustapha Bayal Sall for this match. I think it’s going to be very close but Lyon have what it takes to win it here.
