Chelsea – Southampton
. Chelsea suffered a disappointing defeat against PSG in the Champions League and need to focus on the domestic competition. Machester City lost against Burnley and the Premier League leaders have a good opportunity to extend their lead to eight points with a game in hand. Jose Mourinho said that his players are ready to play and they will want to prove themselves. Southampton won their last match against Crystal Palace and are four points away from the fourth spot. This isn’t the best time to play against Chelsea because the Blues will be looking for a response after the disappointing result in midweek and can’t afford to drop more points.
Tip: 1 @ 1.62
Manchester United – Tottenham
This is a very important game which may have a huge impact on the battle for the fourth place. Manchester United’s recent performances have been unimpressive, but they still manage to find themselves in the top four. Tottenham are picking up the pace and won their last two league games. The gap between them and United is three points and if Spurs win this one they’ll be level and only goal difference will separate the two teams. The hosts will be without the suspended Johnny Evans and Angel Di Maria. Striker Robin van Persie is injured and Ashley Young’s condition will be assessed before the match. The first game between them finished in a boring draw and I don’t see this one having many goals in it.
Tip: Under 2.5 @ 2.08
Verona – Napoli
We saw both teams scoring in Verona’s last six games, meanwhile Napoli’s defense hasn’t been the most stable one recently. The Partenopei played in Europa League and may feel some fatigue. They will be without the injured Manolo Gabbiadini and the suspended Henrique. Artur Ionita is unavailable due to suspension for the hosts. Napoli have been pretty decisive against Verona, having scored three or more goals in the last four matches against them. Both teams should be able to find the net of their opponents at least once.
Tip: Both teams to score @ 1.6
Marseille – Lyon
This match will be very important for both teams. Leaders Lyon meet title contenders Marseille in this crucial clash. A win here could give a huge advantage to the team who achieves it. Yoann Gourcuff was supposed to start behind the strikers but received another injury and won’t be able to play for the visitors. Marseille have two injured players in the likes of Abdel Barrada and Nicolas N’Koulou. Both teams won convincingly their last games and look confident before this derby. These two sides always produce quality matches and this won’t be an exception, considering what’s at stake here. They possess strong attacking players who are capable of scoring anytime.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.73
