Football Predictions 25.04.2015

Southampton – Spurs. These two teams are in the battle for the place that allows participation in the Europa League and now they’ll face each other on Saturday. Tottenham are one point ahead of their opponents and equal points with Liverpool. They won their last five meeting against Southampton but now а former Saints man is their manager. Mauricio Pochettino will be without Kyle Walker while Danny Rose and Hugo Lloris are doubtful. The hosts have more key players injured in the likes of Forster, Mayuka, Djuricic, Alderweireld plus the suspended Wanyama. Both teams have been pretty inconsistent recently and we may see a lot of goals. Tip: Over 2.5 goals @ 2.00

Cologne – Bayer Leverkusen

Cologne’s form has been pretty good recently and they lost only once in their last six games which leaves them at 12th place. Leverkusen need the three points in the battle for Champions League qualification and will do everything to get them. The hosts would also like to secure their spot in the Bundesliga for next season, but it will be hard to stop Bayer’s winning streak from seven games. Cologne can rely on their impressive streak at home where they haven’t lost in the last seven fixtures. Still, Leverkusen’s form looks very impressive and they have enough quality to win this derby. Tip: 2 @ 1.75

Udinese – Milan

Milan managed to hold inter to a goalless draw, but now they face Udinese who prefer to wait on the counter. The hosts aren’t in their best condition at the moment and haven’t won in their last six games. They’re safe from relegation and don’t have anything to play for but their pride. Milan have a chance of playing in the Europa League next season but need to start winning games. They got eight points from their last four games which means they’re seven points away from the fifth spot. The visitors look more likely to win considering they’ll be more motivated. Tip: 2 @ 2.38

Rennes – Nice

We saw both teams scoring in Nice’s six out of the last seven games, so it’s likely that something similar will happen here. Two of the last three games between these two sides finished with both teams scoring in them. The hosts will have to deal with the absences of the injured Philipp Hosiner, Ermir Lenjani and Vincent Pajot and the suspended Abdoulaye Doucouré. Jordan Amavi is suspended for the visitors while Saïd Benrahma and Xavier Pentecote are out injured. Rennes are in great form and this is shaping up to be a great clash with many goals in it. Tip: Both teams to score @ 2.00
