WBA – Southampton
. Both teams aren’t in good form but the hosts have won only twice from their last ten Premier League fixtures. Tony Pulis will have to cope with the absence of Victor Anichebe who has a groin injury. They will be boosted by the return of Stephane Sessegnon who is expected to start. Ryan Bertrand returns for Soton after being suspended but Toby Alderweireld and Steven Davies are doubts. Southampton are losing feet under their ground which means they need to start winning if they don’t want to fall behind in the race for the top four spot and the shaky WBA are the perfect team to do so.
Tip: 2 @ 2.3
Manchester United – Sunderland
Manager Louis van Gaal will be without Michael Carrick and Robin van Persie for this clash against Sunderland. Will Buckley and Billy Jones will be assessed shortly before kick-off for the Black Cats to see if they could feature. United have a great record against this particular opponent and haven’t lost 22 of their last 24 games. The Red Devils lost their last match against Swansea and need a win here to bounce back from the defeat. Sunderland are now 16th and are in the relegation battle once again. Only two times were they losing at half time this season and this will be a tough fixture for the hosts.
Tip: Draw 1st half-home win 2nd half @ 3.75
Bordeaux – Stade Reims
The visitors scored in four of their last five away games and their opponents couldn’t score only once in their twelve home fixtures this season. Bordeaux are fighting for a spot in Europe and are on a five game undefeated streak. The hosts will want to continue their impressive form and a win here is necessary to keep their chances of playing in Europe alive. Stade Reims have the worst defense in the league and that certainly won’t help them in their battle against relegation. The last five meetings between these two sides finished with less than 2.5 goals in all of them and it doesn’t seem likely that this one will be an exception.
Tip: Under 2.5 goals
Lille – Olympique Lyonnais
Lille have won only once in their last six games and now is not the best time to face leaders Lyon. OL’s key man Alexandre Lacazette is back and will lead the attack with Fekir for this match. Right Back Christophe Jallet is injured and probably won’t play from the start. Arnold Mvuemba is still unavailable for the visiotrs. Lille are without the recently injured David Rozehnal who joins Marvin Martin, Adama Soumaoro and Michael Frey. Lyon are entering a difficult run of three away games in a row and now is the best moment for them to prove that they deserve to be champions.
