Football Tips 28.12.2014 – Premier League

Tottenham – Manchester United Both teams are in great form at the moment – Tottenam won their last four games in all competitions and United are undefeated in their last eight. Harry Kane scored in all of those four games and is looking ot up his tally against United. Meanwhile the Red Devils continue with their battle for the Champions League spot and after a win against Newcastle they wouldn’t want to lose against another team who will want to qualify for Europe. The last five times these two teams met both of them managed to score and looking at their attacking potential I think this will also be the case on Sunday. Tip: Both teams to score @ 1.57 Southampton – Chelsea After being on a five game losing streak Southampton managed to get out of it with two wins against Everton and Palace. Now they have only one day to recover and seeing as they are the team who has played the fewest number of players this season they could have problems. Their bench isn’t the strongest one and that’s why manager Ronald Koeman doesn’t like to rotate his squad. Chelsea have more options on the bench with the likes of Filipe Luis, Andre Schurrle, Kurt Zouma, John Obi Mikel and Didier Drogba, which means Jose Mourinho may make a couple of changes to his side. Soton weren’t impressive against the top teams so far this season and I don’t think they have what it takes to avoid a loss against the league leaders. Tip: 2 @ 1.83 QPR – Crystal Palace This London derby surely is going to be an exciting one. QPR lost against Arsenal away but now they’re back at their beloved Loftus Road and would like to continue their impressive winning streak at home. Palace haven’t impressed with their performances lately and are now in the relegation zone. They have only one win away from home this season and are in desperate need of points. But QPR’s home form this season has been amazing and I don’t see them losing this one. Tip: 1 DNB @ 1.61 Newcastle United – Everton Both teams haven’t impressed us so far during the season and are standing currently in the bottom half of the table. After the win against Chelsea, Newcastle suffered a drastic drop in form and lost all of their games so far. Everton have only one win from their last seven games in all competitions and Roberto Martinez will be disappointed with the squad’sĀ recent performances. They aren’t the same team from last season and need to start winning if they want to have a chance of qualifying for Europe the next season. I think this game will be evenly matched and both teams wouldn’t want to risk losingĀ it, so a draw seems the logical result in my opinion. Tip: X @ 3.40
