Who Will Be Leicester City’s Next Manager?

The bookmaker’s favourite to become Leicester City’s future permanent manager is currently Roberto Manchini. If you are not familiar with him (which is highly unlikely), you should know that he is a title-winning coach in the Premier League. The Italian International is currently at the odds of 11-10 with SkyBet, and he is the one who is considered to be the most likely to take over from the club’s ex-manager Claudio Ranieri. Ranieri was sacked by the Premier League champs.

Another name that has gotten much attention is one of their former bosses – Nigel Pearson. You probably remember that his second term as the team’s manager ended in quite the controversial circumstances during the summer of 2015 a little after he guided the club to an unexpected survival. This was followed by a dispute with the team over the actions of his son – James while they were on a trip to Thailand.

Henry Winter, who is the chief football writer for The Times, tweeted that several City players want Pearson back as a coach. Others among the bookmakers’ favourites are Gary Rowett (a former player) and Alan Pardew (Ex-Crystal Palace). More names include Chris Coleman, Guus Hiddink, Brendan Rodgers, Chris Hughton, Michael Laudrup, Andre Villas-Boas, Mark Warburton and Martin O’Neill. More names include Sven-Goran Eriksson has also been mentioned as well as Gary Lineker and Roberto Di Matteo.

Odds At SkyBet:

Martin O’Neill 12-1

Gary Rowett 8-1

Frank de Boer 6-1

Alan Pardew 5-1

Nigel Pearson 5-1

Roberto Mancini 11-10
